I do not know what to do or to say. Government told us we will have to pay a huge debt to AIB in order for the country not to be declared bankrupt (like in Argentina some years ago). People are struggling everyday to keep their job. People are struggling everyday to have a job. Tension is arising. But, so far, no protest, no strikes, no demonstrations... I am amazed how the Irish are taken things sometimes. So what can we do ? which party can we trust ?

Put not your trust in princes, but in God. This is a good reminder of why candidates and parties who come across as amateurish don't do well in elections - though the professionals have done badly enough here, God knows.

Sorry if this seems flip but I'm not sure what we CAN do - just work on and hope for the best.

Mamon seems to be unhappy with us right now.
