We learn this at school, Jibril. Please stop telling us what we already know as if you had just discovered it for the first time. Hibernicus, What? You a Catholic and no thank you for me praying for you but rather a pointed and stern warning? This post is my way of praying for you and your telling me you dont appreciate my prayers? What kind of Catholic is this? He’s most probably the kind of catholic that doesn’t make up lies on this forum about other contributors unlike Royal/saint Stephen/Gabriel did about Inedifix or attempt to draw people into fallacious arguments with no sound foundations. He’s probably also the type of catholic who will listen to the views of others and take on board a reasonably constructed argument rather than ignore and poo poo it because it doesn’t tally up with what he believes. Although I am merely speculating on this issue. However I have found Hibericus reasonable, tolerant and very coherent and despite not sharing many of his beliefs I can listen to his theses without becoming vexed because he appears to have some idea of what he is talking about and more importantly can deliver his point of view in a well constructed manner.

To reminisce a bit, I wish to remind you of our Irish language in the prayer of the Our Father: In ainm an Athar agus an Mhic agus an spioraid Naoimh. Amen. §¢r n-Athair at§Ò ar neamh, Go naofar d'ainim, Go dtagfadh do r§ßocht, Go nd§Ûantar do thoil ar an talamh mar a dh§Ûantar ar neamh. §¢r n-ar§Òn laeth§ìil tabhair d§ìinn inniu, agus maith d§ìinn §Òr bhfiacha mar a mhaithimidne d§Òr bhf§Ûichi§ìna f§Ûin Ach n§Ò lig sinn i gcath§ì, ach saor sinn §å olc, Amen. M¨¢s maith leat comhr¨¢ a bheith againn i nGaeilge, t¨¢im l¨¢n-s¨¢sta scr¨ªobh i nGaeilge. Ach mura bhf¨¦idir leat Gaeilge ¨¢ labhairt, f¨¢g amach ¨ª, le do thoil.

Is beannaithe thú idir mhná Agus is beannaithe toradh do bhrionne Íosa. A Naomh Mhuire mháthair Dé Ghúi orainn na bpeacaí Anois agus ar uair ár mbáis. Amen. Mar a léirigh mé, ní féidir le Gabriel an Ghaeilge á labhairt, agus ceapann sé gur féidir leis paidreacha a athscríobh in ionad argóint i nGaeilge a chur le chéile. Níl ann ach cur amú ama.

Hemingway, What is wrong with you? I pray for you and you tell me where to go? What kind of respect is that? I didn’t tell you where to go. Where are you getting that from? Nor do I wish you to pray for me. Pray for those who really need prayers. I am doing just fine without prayer. In your previous post, you were disparaging towards another member. A member, who in my opinion, makes valid, well constructed contributions, dispite having many differing views to my own. I was merely pointing out the fact that your track record suggests you do not make many constructive contributions. In fact your rather odd views and brand of Catholicism have drawn both atheist and catholic members into arguments with you on this forum. You appear to believe that you are doing gods work and have given yourself the status of some quasi-prophet who posses knowledge that no one else here is privy to. Not even the catholic members who seem well versed in theology such as Hibericus. You cut and paste continually from wikipedia and catholic publications and post these words as if they are your own and only somtimes reference where you got the material. And yet your arguments are always poorly constructed and based of fallacious theses. You quote endless streams of scripture as literal when even most orthodox catholics will admit that much of the material in the bible is metaphorical, placed there to illustrate a point rather than an accurate recording of historical events. If anything you have united the catholics and atheist members on this website in their dislike of much of the material you have contributed to this forum.

Thanks Hemingway. We may have a lot of disagreements but at least we can respect one another as truth-seekers.

I have the Bunchloe Font on my Computer and printed the Our Father that way. Unfortunately it does not work on this Forum.
