Just peeped briefly in to Late, Late, Show on Fri. night. You could'nt make this up. They featured a loony couple who had sent their child to a Catholic school, & guess what, they objected to prayer !. Tubridy was sympathetic & could'nt comprehend how some in the audience were unsympathetic. Your bleeding heart theme for next week, Tubridy - I brought my kids into Burger King, & they would'nt serve us a Big Mac. The injustice of life !.

This could have serious implications, BTW. There is a thread on Politics.ie about a couple who are bringing a constitutional case claiming that Catholic schools discriminate against non-Catholic parents, with the backing of Ivana Bacik. The Constitution specifically guarantees the right to denominational schools, but given the ability of the courts to declare that black is white and vice versa when it suits them (cf the X Case and the way they gutted the blasphemy laws even though the constitution specifically mentions blasphemy) I wouldn't count on it - and even if they lose their case will be used to lend support to the Ruairi Quinn agenda that SOmething Must be Done on the issue. www.politics.ie/forum/education-science/169202-bacik-take-case-against-religious-education.html

Is it time to seriously consider emigration ?. Are there any sane societies left untouched in the world by puerile liberal/feminist/left-wing dogma ?. Please tell me there are ?.

Sinead O'Connor was interviewed as she is now looking for a man and some fun using dating agencies. Turbridy was predictably fawning.

Last Friday's IRISH TIMES by the way featured a Sinead O'Connor interview proclaiming that Ireland was now experiencing "true Catholic emancipation - that is, emancipation from Catholicism."

Thanks assisi, hibernicus. As I stated in another post, I am eternally grateful to the Astra satellite for freeing me both physically & more importantly intellectually from RTE's fundamentalist liberal/feminist/homophile propaganda. Likewise Spirit Radio. tubridy's sychophantic fawning is very much in the tradition of previous hosts grovelling to any half-baked Hollywood or home grown liberal air-head. The perennially whinging Gabriel Byrne typifies the type. Talk about boring for Ireland !.
