The Thiberville affair had ended last Sunday as Father Michel had celebrated mass (Paul VI versus God) in a crowed church. He confirmed that Rome Roma locuta est, causa finita est had followed Bishop Nourrichard's decision to remove him from his parish. And so Abbé Michel has no option but to leave it for ever from the 20th of February.
Bishop Nourrichard's decision, a truth modernist, is based, according to what he says, on financial issues within the parish and on a modification of the map of the parishes within the diocese.
But it is certainly more likely based on the fact that Abbé Michel is an orthodox priest, very closed to the traditional way. And it is understood that behind the "financial issues" motivation, a more real but more evil one is hidden. Bishop Nourrichard want to get rid of everything traditionalist within his diocese, even if he publicly refuses to admit it.
Nourrichard decision against Michel is extremely strong. In a recent interview with a local radio, he exulted of the decision from Rome. He told the journalist that he is going to meet Abbé Michel this week, "before it is too late and that Abbé Michel would find himself outside the Church". He also admitted that he is ready to call for the secular French justice against Abbé Michel regarding the financial issues. (Nourrichard accuse a "private" association closed to the parish to retain some revenue due to the diocese).
Now we do not know what the future of Abbé Michel will be.
Trusting the Providence, we can hope that from "a bad" God will make a "good". Means, Abbé Michel will be transferred to somewhere even better for his mission and salvation of souls.
Sad story.
