Maolsheachlann O Ceallaigh of the GK Chesterton Society of Ireland is interested in starting up a new Catholic/conservative group blog. He feels the Irish blogosphere is dominated by "liberal, secular, anti-Catholic sites" and believes an alternative voice is needed. Would anyone here be interested in joining such a blog or contributing?

Provided posters can remain anonymous, and that each contributor in reponsible for his/her own contributions only. (Of course the moderator will have to know their identities).

Alternatively, he could try joining this blog and recruiting new members for it. I might add that Catholic and conservative are not synonymous and we ought not to assume that they are.

I don't see why the moderator would have to know anyone's identity. I sometimes contribute over at Catholicism Pure and Simple and the moderator there only knows me as Shane. He doesn't have access to my profile - although he can still edit or delete my posts on that blog.
Also, I am unable to edit anyone else's posts, or they mine (bar the mod, of course).

Fair enough - my mistake. I don't know anyone's ID - only what information they provide.
