Ezigbotutu, having denounced religious belief in the most vitriolic and unbridled terms, now declares that Bishop walsh is speaking "common sense" when he advocates the ordination of women for a function which ezigbotutu regards as supersitious nonsense and the admission of homosexals, adulterers and Protestants to a religious rite for which ezigbotutu has no respect whatsoever. This rather proves Loughcrew's point about the bishop's opinions, and is another good reason not to take Ezigbotutu seriously.

Ah the Member for Rome has found his voice once again. We thought he had lost it but it appears the more likely reason is he simply ran away. Mr. Walsh is suggesting a ban on discussion should be lifted. Discussion in Rome is contrary to the dictates of the Imperial Wizard Herr Ratzinger so Mr. Walsh best watch himself. Imagine the cheek of him wanting to discuss an obvious problem! After legions of child rape and torture, troops leaving to set up home with women, falling numbers of recruits, dwindling flocks and nominal members who ignore instructions, the Imperial Wizard refuses to discuss the problem. This is of great cheer to this side of the House. Implosion beckons for the Dome in Rome. Ezigboututu, there is a fair amount of logic in Hibernicus' post; more perhaps than in yours. - "Legions of child rape and torture"? As a percentage of all those in the religious life?
- "Falling numbers of recruits"? When the numbers are rising?
- "Dwindling flocks"? When they are rising too?
- "Nominal members who ignore instructions"? Yes, but thanks mainly to the saintly Bishop Willie and others of his lost generation. As Milton put it, The hungry Sheep look up, and are not fed.
The Honourable Member needs to do better.
