I was wondering do any of you have any ideas...I mean cutting edge ideas to raise the profile of the Traditional Mass from an advertising/marketing perspective? Its something which has interested me for some time since unless you are interested in the Old Mass in this country there is practically no way of you knowing about it...I feel it has to be more visible? Ideas are what is needed....there are many who criticize various associations for not doing enough-well here is your chance to be innovative and proactive...any good ideas will be passed onto the Latin Mass Society of Ireland for their consideration.

Well, well. Obviously Internet is a "new" and efficient way. It is also the least expensive. Maybe a new website. The LMSI site is well made, maybe a different one. But what is it all about ? The promotion of the TLM or the promotion of the Application of the MP. Regarding the second, a website dedicated to Priests in Ireland (without intervention of the Bishops), could be efficient, since the MP is designed to them and since the we need them to celebrate ! Advertisements in Catholics papers, especially the most orthodox ones, and Alive!, present in many parishes. Remember the vast campaign of Alive! for the "NO" to Lisbon... If they are capable of dedicate their paper for a politic issue, how come they shouldn't be interested in a religious promotion. This is a more traditional way and more expensive, but maybe the members - and non members - of the LMSI would be happy to help in the financing. But I wonder - even if this initiative is fine - because of the situation in which the TLM is so poorly (in numbers) celebrated in this country, what the main reason will be. Say "Go on', let's go to the old mass, dude !" ;D over the whole country, where the old mass is celebrated only in few counties... ? So the advertisement campaigns should be dedicated to the priests, in priority, and maybe in parallel to the faithful.

Ok, so we already have our target : the priests.
Maybe, maybe, we could send a letter, explaining what is the TLM, the MP, etc... in charity... and plain english, to each single parish in Ireland. We would be able to know more or less, which priests are interested. At that stage, with help of the LMSI, and maybe help of a lay person from the LMSI, like a "mentor" or a "link", for each priest associated, we could re-organise a proper training. At least we would have a list of priests interested. And can work out with this list, according to each county. And so without the approbation of the bishops, as we do not need it since the MP.
I don't know, i only suggest.
Then, we could be present outside the churches, on sunday, and distribute leaflets to the faithful to promote the Old Mass.
Then... then, we could organize a kind of Irish Chartres Pilgrimage, then numerous retreats, then build schools and seminaries,....., wow, i will be dead by then ! ;D
