In reply to Alaisdir, the Mass is going well and there is a dedicated group which is helping. In reply to Askel, yes it is Fr. O Toole. I am not into the liturgical arrangements but I am told that it's not a solemn High. I shall not be posting on these boards for some time so please don't think me rude if any other questions are not replied to. The only observation I will make is that when a latin Mass is newly instituted in a place it needs a lot of publicity and support as it takes people time to get to know about it, but I feel that given time, numbers will build. The Kilkenny website is: www.societyofstoliver.blogspot.comI wish God's blessing on all those wherever who are engaged in this important work.

Eircomnet,
Is there any reason why the St Oliver Plunkett Society blog doesn't give names or contact details?

Just checked the Ossory website.
Fr O'Connor was ordained in 1985 - well after the EF Latin Mass was out of commission. One presumes then he is early to mid fifties?
This is a good development.
