Robinwhistles: I agree, the followers of MDM are adamant in their slavish devotion to her. According to Mark Garde, who wrote a thesis about Debra Geileskey and her MMM cult, the fact that she made herself the only source of God to them made her very powerful. Therefore I urge Catholics to read the tragedies, the lives which were ruined because of the charisma of one seer who weaved spell-binding power over many trusting souls. It isn't too hard to predict that MDM, whoever she is, is going to repeat this sad tale.
Anyone who swallows the lie that Pope Francis is in league with Satan is going to suffer more than severe indigestion; they will be poisoning their souls and jeopardizing their salvation. Maria Divine Mercy's prophecies for Holy Week did not happen. The sign she promised did not happen. Unless one thinks washing the feet of women is an abomination to God equal to the pagans who once sacrificed pigs in the Temple of Jerusalem during the time of the Maccabees.
Here is the direct quote from the second warning website: “What suffering is being experienced by My beloved sacred servants, close to My Heart, who know the Truth and who have to witness the abomination in My Church on earth...There is to be a particular insult, which will be inflicted upon My Holy Name, in an effort to desecrate Me, during Holy Week. This wicked gesture, during Holy Week, will be seen by those who keep their eyes open and this will be one of the signs by which you will know that the imposter, who sits on the throne in My Church on earth, does not come from Me.” Jesus, March 14, 2013

It's been sometime since I have heard of Debra Gaileskey and her Magnificat Meal (whatever that means). I did do some research on it; I heard a few horror stories (the late Taoiseach Charles Haughey's nephew Niall Haughey and his family were a case in point) about it. I spoke to people who got involved who were left scarred.
When I heard the name, I thought the woman might be an Eastern Catholic and asked the late Mgr Serge Keleher about her. He e-mailed the Ukrainian Catholic Bishop of Australia to ask about her. At that point he told me to expect a reply in about 6 weeks. That was on a weekday evening. When he opened his e-mails the following morning, there were personal e-mail replies from both the Ukrainian Catholic Bishop and the diocesan bishop to whom the Ukrainian bishop forwarded the enquirey. It would be a good summary to say this was 'don't touch her with a forty foot pole'.
I have a friend who is an Australian Augustinian who was working as a parish priest in the Cairns diocese in Queensland at the time (now he's chaplain to the indiginous peoples in the diocese assisted by a deacon of aboriginal origin). Now my contact with this man is minimal but at one stage I mentioned Debra. He said she came into his parish a few times and when he tried to dissuade his parishioners from having anything to do with her, she said she saw a vision of a big black mark overhanging his head and predicted imminent disaster to him and anyone around him. Draw your own conclusions.

I have a copy of the book on the whole Geilesky fiasco. One of the most striking points was the way in which she veered around from traditionalist Catholicism to quasi-Protestantism (even negotiating with a Protestant group at one point for possible membership) just so long as she could justify her position as self-proclaimed prophet and her dissatisfaction with the Church authorities. This sort of ideological fluidity based around a self-proclaimed leader is one sure sign of a cult (a sect, like the Free Presbyterians for example, may be dominated by a single leader but has standards of belief which exist independently of him/her). The Little Pebble is another striking example of the danger of following apocalyptic cults which claim God has dispensed their leader from Church law. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Kamm

Private revelation is allowed by church members to follow as long as it leads them to follow Gods word and bring about the fulfillment of Gods child to Heaven. We are called as baptized Catholic to discern all things and let the Holy Spirit lead us God.

bemercybeloved, At this point, Catholics can no longer follow Marie DM and remain Catholic. It is MDM who is advising her readers to pray to the Holy Spirit in order to discern the veracity of these messages whereas the faithful are called to give the "obedience of faith."
“To obey (from the Latin ob-audire, to "hear or listen to") in faith is to submit freely to the word that has been heard, because its truth is guaranteed by God, who is Truth itself.” Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 144
“The first commandment requires us to nourish and protect our faith with prudence and vigilance, and to reject everything that is opposed to it. There are various ways of sinning against faith: Voluntary doubt about the faith disregards or refuses to hold as true what God has revealed and the Church proposes for belief.” no.2088, CCC
What has God revealed regarding the papacy and the indestructibility of the Catholic Church instituted by Christ? What does MDM say? Bottom line, it is a sin against faith to refuse to accept the legitimate authority of Pope Francis and it is a sin against justice to slander his good reputation.

Furthermore, we read regarding the teaching office of the Church:
“In order to preserve the Church in the purity of the faith handed on by the apostles, Christ who is the Truth willed to confer on her a share in his own infallibility. By a "supernatural sense of faith" the People of God, under the guidance of the Church's living Magisterium, "unfailingly adheres to this faith." no. 889, Catechism of the Catholic Church
“The mission of the Magisterium is linked to the definitive nature of the covenant established by God with his people in Christ. It is this Magisterium's task to preserve God's people from deviations and defections and to guarantee them the objective possibility of professing the true faith without error. Thus, the pastoral duty of the Magisterium is aimed at seeing to it that the People of God abides in the truth that liberates. To fulfill this service, Christ endowed the Church's shepherds with the charism of infallibility in matters of faith and morals.” no.890, Catechism of the Catholic Church
MDM has condemned over a billion of God's people to join the same fate as the impostor on the throne of Peter which is the eternal abyss and labelled them "sorry souls" for rejecting MDM's "Truth." What could be more contrary to Divine Mercy? Or this extraordinary claim?
“Teach people the truth by reminding them constantly of the truth which is contained in My Father’s Book – the Book of Truth. These teachings will last forever.” Jesus to MDM Dec.25, 2012
This is sad business, indeed, when a Catholic thinks that the writings of some unknown seer could possibly compete with the authentic Canon of Scripture. Even the saints would never have countenanced putting their writing on par with scripture, let alone surpass it. This again is the hallmark of an ego-maniacal personality and not the humility of a saint. This is the same temptation as temptation of Adam and Eve in the Garden. "Did God really say that?" "Do you really believe Him?" "You will know good and evil." Absolutely not. To want to know the future; to judge an innocent man before his pontificate has even begun is to trespass our limitations as creatures of God and to seek to usurp His authority.

In the e-mail from Bishop Peter Stasiuk CSsR (Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparch for Australia) to the Archimandrite Keleher, the Little Pebble movement was mentioned as a comparison with the Magnificat Meal Movement.
There were a number of adherents to the Little Pebble in Ireland.

I'm slightly surprised there were Irish adherents of the Little Pebble though he does seem to have spread his net widely. Here is an example of some alleged African visionaries influenced by him who developed into setting up their own church and eventually burned themselves and their followers to death (or burned their followers and escaped with the loot, as some people think). This is a good example of why totally uncritical acceptance of private revelations is unwise www.cesnur.org/testi/uganda_002.htm

So Many Good and Holy Priests Who Have Joined Together to Pull These Messages Apart”-Ap. 9, 2013 from the Warning Second Coming website of seer Maria of Divine Mercy
The body of this message belies the title which calls priests good and holy. These priests are promptly renounced by MDM. According to her Jesus, “they do not have the qualifications or the knowledge” to analyze the veracity of her messages. Ordinary, uneducated members of the faithful are continually exhorted to discern the truth based on reciting the prayers she composed and nothing more than their own feelings. As for the experts, who have been called, anointed and ordained by God, they are repudiated for exercising due diligence in protecting their flocks. Who can believe MDM is an obedient seer, under the care of a spiritual director as she claims? A true and humble seer she is not.

continued response to Ap.9/13 message, "Many Good and Holy Priests"
According to a Youtube interview of Maria of Divine Mercy, Part 3, published Jan.13/13 she did submit her messages to an archbishop; he determined that she was not a “typical visionary’ and rejected the messages on the basis of a doctrinal issue. As these messages have already been investigated and dismissed, it is a moot point whether or not she is under the direction and guidance of priests. Obviously, she has no respect for proper Church authority. Her vicious attacks began with humble parish priests whom she termed proud and ignorant; they escalated to the pope whom she been branded as a “dictator of lies,” “an impostor”, “a false prophet” and an “abomination.”

continued response to Ap.9/13 message, "Many Good and Holy Priests"
One would think she had spewed forth enough wickedness, but no, hatred has no end from that voluble source of everlasting venom called Marie Divine Mercy. These “good and holy priests” “must not allow themselves to be contaminated...because this poses danger for ...souls”.Who is in danger? Apparently, anyone who would take the counsel of a priest. Have they not been legitimately ordained to speak with the authority of Christ on matters of faith and morals? Is it not their mission to transmit the deposit of faith? According to this mystic apparently not. How dare they discourage anyone from her recruitment plan to found a new church according to the beguiling “Voice {of Jesus} in these Messages.”

continued response to Ap.9/13 message, "Many Good and Holy Priests"
The aim of this seer is to separate the faithful from their pastors. What could be more divisive than Jesus separating Himself from His bride, the Church? "The Church...is described as the spotless spouse of the spotless lamb. It is she whom Christ 'loved and for whom He delivered Himself up that He might sanctify her.' It is she whom He unites to Himself by an unbreakable alliance, and whom He constantly 'nourishes and cherishes.'" CCC #757 The contradictions, the renouncements, the warnings, continued unabated throughout the entire message of April 9/13. In no uncertain terms, priests will be punished for their “betrayal” and their “pride”. She threatened them, not once, but twice, all in the name of Jesus of course. Finally, she commanded priests to get with the program, hers that is, and “read” the “Crusade Prayers.” Only then will Jesus enlighten them with “the power of discernment.” The “blessings” don’t stop there. Boldly she flourished this promise: Jesus “will baptize” them “anew”. So much for Baptism which seals the Christian with the indelible spiritual mark of his belonging to Christ. Given once for all, it cannot be repeated. CCC#1272
