Let's recap, we have listed here:

We've got politics, law with a little journalism and sport there. I'm surprised there aren't more artistic groups and people. What about academics?
BTW, I have a few more one-timers:
Dick Spring Senator Maurice Manning Hon Mr Justice Paul Carney David Quinn.
and a more regular attendee:
Hon Mr Justice Peter Charleton.
An SSPX regular:
Dr Cyril Daly (long time campaigner against corporal punishment in the schools) Justin Barrett
Anymore?

Does anyone recall the 'Tom and Paschal' comedy duo from Limerick? The 'Paschal' end - I think his name was Paschal O'Grady petitioned for the traditional Mass in Limerick.

I heard former FG TD and Lord Mayor of Cork, Bernard Allen, makes sporadic appearance at the TLM in Ss Peter's and Paul's in Cork.

How could I forget the late Mr Justice Rory O'Hanlon, a regular at St Paul's, Arran Quay and St Audoen's, High St, before his death?

At the risk of confusing people, the other Rory O'Hanlon, Dr Rory O'Hanlon, former minister for health and Ceann Comhairle and long-serving FF TD for Cavan-Monaghan was at St Kevin's in Harrington St during the summer. His son (also Rory O'Hanlon) and nephew (John Smith of the Pro-Life Campaign) are regular attendees.

See new Supreme Court appointee is High Court Judge, Hon Justice Peter Charleton. At one time, he played the organ in St Paul's, Arran Quay for the TLM. Don't know if he still goes, but he certainly did in the past.

You can't turn on Lyric FM these without hearing the name David Brophy mentioned. He's principal conductor of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra now. He played the organ for several years on Sunday in St Paul's Arran Quay and following that in St Audoen's High St at the EF Latin Mass.
Not a lot of people know that.

Sounds like a move to the right of centre. BTW, a figure from sport - Frank O'Farrell, manager of Manchester United after Matt Busby, is a long time attender of the traditional Mass. Frank O'Farrell died in March this year at the age of 94.

Leo Varadkar attended a Sunday Mass in St Kevin's, Harrington St some months ago. I understand the current Labour leader attended her uncle's funeral in the SSPX chapel in Cork several years ago. So two of the current party leaders have attended the TLM at least once.

Mary Kenny paid tribute to Dr Cyril Daly, long time campaigner against corporal punishment in the schools, whom she said was a devout Catholic in last week's Irish Catholic. That he was, but she was probably unaware he was an ardent SSPX supporter. I doubt his position on corporal punishment was typical of the SSPX

I'm actually slightly surprised at Dr Cyril Daly's SSPX allegiance as well, given that some trads (and Protestant fundamentalists) often equate opposition to corporal punishment with denial of original sin. I suspect Dr Daly was simply a man of courage who thought for himself. (The latter because joining the SSPX requires a degree of ideological commitment, however misplaced, as distinct from a purely reactive mindset.)

I see his name with that of Justin Barrett under 'SSPX regular' above. Well, that's a chalk and cheese relationship.
