Sunday mass. Every members of the congregation has a little leaflet stating the readings. It is quite well done to be honest, as nobody has a proper Missal. It is made by Saint Paul Society in Dublin, I think. This leaflet is distributed to all who attend Sunday Mass. This particular Sunday, the Eucharistic prayer was number III. It is not possible that the priest is not aware of what is written on this leaflet. And know what ? The Priest choose the Eucharistic prayer number II. So that nobody could follow it... At the NO mass, actually the priest can do whatever he wants. But when what he want is to confuse the parishioners... I do not know. This is a tiny example, i Know. But those tiny examples happen ALL THE TIME at the NO mass !!!!! And nobody says anything, nobody complains, nobody cares. The structure, the squareness, the righteousness of the old mass cannot allow the priest to make such changes. I am sick and tired of the ordinary form which disappoint me all the time. I am thinking about leaving the country for good, as i fond something new and interesting in France with the Institute of the Good Shepherd. At least I will have to proper mass everyday, mass being the best way to honour and please our Beloved Lord...

It's still the Mass - but I agree that one problem with the OF is indeed the extent to which arbitrary behaviour by the celebrant is allowed/tolerated. It may not be so much tat nobody complains because they don't care, as because they realise that complaints will be ignored. Don't lose heart.
