Please, Could Mary have diplayed affection towards one of her son's torturer, be affectionate with the high priest, or married one of them?
Can we give the best of our love to neighbours that reject Christ?

Jesus said "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do". Seems pretty clear, given that we are supposed to imitate Jesus. Marriage raises different questions, and raising it in connection with the Blessed Virgin suggests you are not familiar with Church teaching on her perpetual virginity.

Asking God for His forgiving them does not mean she would have been able to conjugally and truly love one of them, even if repentant, and even less, if not, does it? i know about her virginity. Doesn't make implausible she could have married another man, does it?
