well firstly it would depend on the quality and type of hymnal we get (there are many different styles out there as portrayed in this link from detroit latin mass website: www.detroitlatinmass.org/jospht/012807.pdf) and secondly it would depend on the quantity of the hymnals needed (presumably 100 - 200) In Nomine Christi

When I visit London I find that most Catholic churches there have hymnals in the back of the church and the numbers of the hymns which will be sung that day are displayed on a noticeboard. I've never seen this done in Ireland, but it's a good idea IMHO.

Somehow I don't think bringing in performing choirs encourages members of the congregations to sing.
