Father Hoban is unwilling to learn anything. He accuses supporters of the traditional Mass as opponents of ecumenism, but he is unable to see how unecumenical his jibes at the TLM is to Orthodox. Secondly, he is disingenuous; he played an active part in resisting the efforts to get the EF Mass in his own diocese. Though I know that there are traditionalists who are every thing the ACP want them to be, Father Hoban resorts to caricature and unexamined caricature at that.

An ACP member compares the Church to the Taliban for not giving enough leadership roles to women, and admits he made the comparison to draw attention to his views. The ACP website appears to have nothing to say on this. How does the reverend gentleman justify remaining a priest if the Church is equivalent to the Taliban? If the comparison is unjustified, hasn't he ever heard that slander is a sin? (Perhaps not, such is the state of catechetics.) www.irishcatholic.com/acps-comparison-of-church-to-taliban-stomach-churning/

Then why did he accept both diaconate and priesthood?
