Just to confirm that the Website of the SSPX in Ireland had confirmed the appointment of their new superior : As of 18 September 2010 Father Paul Morgan is the new superior of the Society of St. Pius X for both Ireland and Britain, with residence in London. The website of Britain is www.sspx.co.ukWikipedia : Paul Morgan (priest) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search
Father Paul Morgan (b 1964) is the current superior of the British district of the Society of St Pius X. He was ordained by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre at Econe in 1988. He has served in USA and the Philippines, served as Principal of St. Michael's, the Society's school and was appointed to his present post in 2003. He is the son of the late Bill Morgan, a lay theologian who was an advocate of the sedevacantist theory. He is strongly opposed to the Second Vatican Council which he claims contain "modernist errors".[1].
Father Morgan vociferously opposed the decision of the small traditionalist community known as the Transalpine Redemptorists (who had previously been associated with the Society of St. Pius X) to reconcile with the Vatican. Fr Morgan is also opposed to any reconciliation by the SSPX with Rome, until they have repudiated what he sees as their errors.Tough guy.... ;D

So his father is a sedevacantist. I wonder has this apple fallen far from the tree?

I wonder what the statement that "he is opposed to the second vatican Council" means in this context - though it may be unfair to place too much weight on a phrase in a Wikipedia entry.
