Not sure what the question is. Is what true exactly? Faith healing?
Well you have to take each case on its individual merits, but I have to also admit that I have seen faith healing debunked on so many occasions it is not funny anymore.

I am not inclined to believe, but the healing Masses operated by Eddie Stone in Loughrey are very popular. Could be some mass suggestion there. He is in good standing with the diocesan bishop, Mgr John Kirby, who I never tire of telling any one who listens that this the sole bishop who has never allowed the EF Latin Mass in his diocese. I know Father David Jones is supportive of Eddie Stone's endeavours, but he is the only priest in the traditional circle who is.
I would tend to say 'false'.

I don't think you can label someone at easily as that without putting some substance into it. I've been to a Church in Limerick where he spoke on a number of occasions with other priests in attendance and he declared how little he owns, not even his own house, car (or suit which was a gift) and works entirely for the Church. I too am very cautious about these things but I do think if you are going to label him at least put forward a good argument. I'm not knowledgeable on the man but if due care is not taken you could do a lot of damage to someone doing good work. Any feedback welcome..

Doubtful. Why are they fainting? Is it physical or spiritual healing that is the goal of this man's actions? Some illnesses, as well as fixations, phobias and creative block can be relieved by what we might call auto-suggestion or hypnosis. Probably harmless, casting some dependency upon the vulnerable.

I’m just putting forward my understanding and am definitely not an expert so I’m open to info . Firstly, you cannot put someone’s work down based on one’s own whims/opinions.
He is working for the Church full time, though you have no obligation to follow nor do you have the obligation to follow any private revelations.
Fr. Mockler was in Charleville yesterday (April 1st, young priest based in Rome works in Exorcism) and he mentioned the good work carried out by Eddie Stones in Emmanuel House.
A friend of mine from Mitchelstown, very were read and does his holy duties went to E.S. once and was amused only to find himself falling to the ground. And this lad was definitely not vulnerable. Apparently it’s called resting in the Spirit.
We do not have the authority to put someone down as we might damage all the good works intended for this person, nor am I saying to promote such works carried out by lay people. My point is if you don’t even know what resting in the spirit is what on earth are you are doing critising him.
Priests also carry out this laying on of hands and have the same result, are you now condemning your own Priests? Do you respect their authority?
If you are aware of activity carried out by these people that put us at risk, at least put it into a constructive format that is backed up other that gut feel. If we do not adhere to good moral accountability in this manner then we here in this forum are just as corrupt as those in the media spinning whatever is popular.
p.s. for the record I too am very cautious about lay people doing all sorts but I am careful not to condemn but alert people to be 'cautious' if there is some obvious contradictions of their actions, especially if they do not have spiritual advisers etc..
