I loved Latin in my childhood, sang it in choir and took it in high school - HAD to be a Catholic high school, for that, in the U.S.A, since public institutions generally don't offer it before college.
I think that with an hour's review, I could say a Latin Mass myself. For me, this rite truly is 'extraordinary'.
Dominus vobiscum, to you all.

Et cum spiritu tuo. Is there much interest in the Old Rite where you live?

There is some interest in my area but at the moment we are trying to get a priest to learn the old rite.

My parish priest does little Latin, however we frequent the Catholic Ukrainian church and Father Stalmach speaks entirely in Ukrainian then adds a little here and there in English. My wife and I both love the Ukrainian Rite and also the Maronite Rite. We can go to Saint Agnes about 30 miles away to hear the Latin although the Ukrainian Mass is far more beautiful.
